If you don't know what the Met Gala is, its an annual event at the Met Museum in New York City that kicks off the Costume Institute spring exhibition. The costume institute used to be a permanent exhibit where thousands of historical costumes and jewelry was displayed. It opened in 1948, but didn't last very long because of how delicate all the pieces were. So now, they are stored and exhibited about 2 times a year. Each exhibit follows a designer or an era of fashion. This year the exhibit that was unveiled was "Punk: Chaos or Couture?" If you are anybody, you are at the met gala.
Obviously the exhibit is important, but lets be real, I couldn't wait to see what all the celebs were going to wear. These were some of my favorite looks. Still can't believe Bee and I met Kate Bosworth a week ago. She looked amazing in a long-sleeved embellished Balmain top, styled as a dress. She definitely has the legs for it.
